Contractor Event: The Year Ahead for Community Pharmacy + AGM 2021/22
| 225 contractors voted on the GMLPC accounts for year ending March 2021, with 100% accepting and approving the accounts.

Thank you to all those who attended the event on Monday 3rd October.
GMLPC planned the event to support and update all GM Contractors on the upcoming changes that will affect them in the coming months.
As always, we are keen listen to and help our contractors in any way that we can and tailor our support to target the current issues being faced.
Feedback gathered earlier in the year has indicated that a key area in which pharmacy teams would like support is in the setting up and delivery of services.
With this in mind, as part of the event GMLPC organised a session for contractors dedicated to maximising the uptake of pharmacy services.
Highly accomplished guest speakers also offered insight, knowledge and expertise on sector updates and the impact on Community Pharmacy, including a pre recorded presentation from PSNC Chief Executive Janet Morrison who discussed the year 4 and 5 CPCF announcement and what this will mean for pharmacies and the wider sector. Key updates included the following:
- Updates on the national Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework Year 4 and year 5 agreement and how this will impact you and your teams.
- Information relating to the introduction of the GM ICS structure
- Guidance on how you can achieve the Pharmacy Quality Scheme criterion.
